Found, Most Noisy Animals on Earth

Scientists managed to obtain evidence about the noisiest animal in the world, especiallyif you look at his size. Micronecta scholtzi, insects that live under the water is able toissue a vote of 99.2 decibels.

As an illustration 99.2 decibels or less the same hardness with orchestral music andlisten to the game we watched from the front pew row. The frequency of sound producedis around 10kHz is also within the range of human hearing.

According to James Windmill, researchers from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland, this animal is very great. "Although 99 percent of the sound produced is lost as it movesout of the water out into the open air, but the sound produced animals that 'sings' from the bottom of the river can still be heard by people who walk by the river," he said.

Excerpted from Science Daily, July 4, 2011, vote 'singing' was issued by Micronectascholtzi males who want to find the opposite sex. He produces sounds by rubbing body parts. Interestingly, the body that digesekkan only have a size of 50 micrometers, or about the width of human hair.

"We do not know how they can make a sound as loud as that of a very narrow area," called the Windmill.

The research team which delivered its findings at the annual meeting of the Society forExperimental Biology Annual Conference in Glasgow that says that they want to find out from the biological and technical aspects to see how small animals can sound very noisy. Where possible, 'technology' are also applied in this animal human kehidupuan.

"In biology, this research could be useful in conservation efforts because the record sounds of insects can be used to monitor the diversity of animals," said Windmill. "From the technical side, this research could be used for acoustic technology such as sonarsystems," he said.
